Orange,
lemon, lime, tangerine, and grapefruit are all examples of citrus fruits. Citrus fruits have become the most commercially important tropical or
sub-tropical fruits worldwide.
Citrus
fruits are known for their high vitamin C content and are usually eaten
fresh and raw. The rind contains numerous oil glands. In many varieties
of citrus fruits, the essential oil can be extracted
for use in perfumes, flavorings, medicines and other products.
